I shoot with both Left and Right handed shotguns. I am a trap and game shooter. 1100TB LH, 11-87, A5, 870 (1LH) X 3, Krieghoff X 2, Remington M17. The shells across the face thing is less of a problem to me than the safety. My wife has been shooting my LH 870 (right handed) on Trap and prefers it to a right handed one. It is easier for her to load the breech on the left side of the gun.

All my guns are right handed versions except for 1 left hand AR platform.

        Browning Auto-5, and Benelli M1 Super 90.

Right handed, left eye. Shoot ARs and Benelli M2 RH models left handed. Only bolts are LH guns.

Left handed but have never had a left handed shotgun. I did convert my favorite 870 to left hand safety.
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

Lefthanded, operates RH guns just fine.
Reversed saftey on Benelli, Ambi on AR, Replaced trigger group to LH on 870, Operate AK with RH. 1911's Ambis, Glocks & Revolvers (doesn't matter). Bolt guns...operates just fine with the RH working the bolt and the LH staying on the grip. I like being able to see the ejection port on auto loaders, fast dianogistics on malfunctions. Never owned a LH gun, never will. Looked at Stag LH AR's, but hell the important controls are still right hand oriented (bolt release and mag release). They only eject out the port side, big deal.

Besides, us lefties are way more ambidextrous than our right handed counterparts, we have to be, it's a righthanded world, so we use our non-dominate hand way more often than a right handed person uses their left.
