entry level 20ga semi-auto

im looking for one for my wife. I want something affordable so please save the 'buy a benneli' comments. this doesn't need to be anything special either, just a basic 20ga semi.

any recommendations?

Saw it at Herb Bauer (usually really high priced gun store) Its the black syn. stock 20g/12g. Brand new.

I mean... it's not Charles Daly quality, but...

Take her to a gun store whenever you can. Feel and pointability is #1 in picking a shotgun. Most companies make decent guns; and all make flops now and then.

If it were me and for that very exact purpose, I'd get a browning A5 in 20 gauge. Seen a few locally here in Norcal that were priced around $300, might have had one for less. Also, you might want her input as well.
