Eotech went out on me. Spontaneously

So my eotech starts blinking, figure it means the batts are going low. I change them with 2 diff pairs and the original low batts. The thing won't go back on, tried both directions on all 3 sets, tried being more careful when putting it back, no luck. I did not drop it strike it etc. Wierd ? Figured I woulda smacked it and it would go out, but no a simple batt change? Advice?

Yup, they are in the battery case. Mine were all gummed up. When I had the same issue as you I took some cotton swabs and dipped them in alcohol and cleaned the battery tray. I also took out the grommets to clean too. Ever since cleaning I have not had any problems.
