PowerPak for SpecOps stock and storage

I have found the SpecOps stock invaluable for shooting slugs, and for having an adjustable LOP. Just wondering, has anyone tried the PowerPak for the SpecOps stock?

One thing concerns me, is the extra width of it, will hog up space, in the shrinking space of my safe. Also, I wonder if I will have difficulty squishing it into the rifle case when I take it out the range. So does the PowerPak easily pop on and off the stock? Or is it a very tight snug fit, that would require a bit of time for me to remove it when I put it away or take it off to the range?

    thanks in advance!

I have the Blackhawk Knoxx SpecOps stock with the PowerPak system on a Remington 870 (#25077) and a Mossberg 590A1 (#51668).

The PowerPak system itself is quite difficult to remove from the stock once it is installed and it definitely adds some bulk to the stock. However, if storage space is your main concern then the adjustable portion of the stock can be removed; which only takes a few few seconds.

There is no question that when used correctly the Blackhawk Knoxx SpecOps stock does an amazing job of reducing felt recoil!

In fact, I was just at the range earlier this afternoon with a couple of friends. One of them brought a Remington 870 (#25077) just like mine, but it had the OEM synthetic stock on it. We tested the effectiveness of the Blackhawk Knoxx SpecOps stock by shooting each other's guns back-to-back with identical ammo. The difference was night and day! Suffice to say, he bought a Blackhawk Knoxx SpecOps stock on the way home.

NOTE: The PowerPak system comes with two cheek pieces (high and low). I installed the high cheek piece, but I think it is too elevated for the standard bead sight. I have to either replace the high cheek piece with the low cheek piece or get a new taller sight.
