surefire forend on an interstate 982

I was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to put a surefire forend on a 982?

I would call surefire and let them know the model you have. I bought the m70 for my mossberg, it works great.

Is that an 870 clone? Because I have a Surefire forend for an 870 for sale if it does fit, and you need one.

I just put a Hogue forend on my 982 that was meant for an 870. Fit a little tight, but it is on there. I am pretty sure that any part that is meant for the 870 will fit the 982 except for barrels.

The metal forend tube on the 982 is a little larger in diameter than the 870. You will probably have to open up the inside of the SureFire forend a little.

Makes sense because I had a heck of a time getting that Hogue on there. A lot of oil and elbow grease
