My sister's boyfriend had "ejection problems". I don't think he had an 18" barrel though. I'll ask her what their solution was for it. LOL

Ejection problem is always the case in a 2" sawed-off barrel.

870 problems, that's not something you hear everyday. I've had mine for years and fired thousand and thousands of shells out of it. Maybe with 1 or 2 failures.

This may be a dumb suggestion but from what i've seen is that if you don't rack the slide back completely when you pump it to expel spent shell it can fail to extract it. Make sure you give it a nice strong full pump all the way back and forward. This MAY solve the issue.

Like I said do Google search on the 870 FTF, 870 jamming...ect and see what you come up with. You will see it's a very common problem.

Probably the cheap ammo nowadays is REALLY CHEAP! The shells expands so much it clogged the chamber. Cheap ammos should just be used on those break action shotguns.

Tell me why other shotguns don't have a problem with them? Also why does some 870's have a problem with them and some don't?

Making excuses for Remington won't make them change their QC standards.

Agreed! I shot trap last week with my 870 and brought with me Winchester, Federal and Remington bulk packs from Walmart. All three brands were getting stuck in the chamber. I don't have this problem with my other pump shotgun.

The problem seems to be only happening with Steel, and it generally happens when its hot, and you have fired close to 100 rounds thru it. I went to the range, and shot at least 250 slugs and buck shots (brass) out of it, without problems, I then went to the bird loads made from steel, the Wal Mart Value pack, and thats when the problems started, maybe 6 out of 100. None the less, polish your barrel, and you should be good to go. A little Rem Oil wouldn't hurt either, just make sure not to use too much. This is still my HD Gun.
