The receivers can do both, but Trap and Skeet stocks are very different. We have a Krieghoff that came as a skeet gun and we bought a trap stock and had a spare trap barrel for. It is probably the closest to a gun that will do both. Look at Valmets, They are have totally interchangeable barrels and stocks. but by the time you spend the money, you can have 2 guns.

26" barrels are a bit short for trap, and probably skeet as well. After you buy your gun, pattern it, shoot lots of trap and skeet then get it fitted. Changeable chokes are a must.

26" barrels have been standard fair for skeet for decades. The trend is to longer barrels today. Changeable chokes are also a recent trend.

Thanks for all the replies. The Kreighoff is a little out of my $1500 buget lol.. So it looks like i'm looking for a Browning with 28 inch Barrel

You don't need a specialized shotgun to shoot any of those games. Its really just personal preference as to how much drop you want on your stock. Get one that is comfortable for you and then learn how to shoot it.
