    590 question...

I know it can fire 2.5 & 3in ammo... but what about 3.5in? I have a few rounds of 3.5 #00 Magnum Buckshot I'm wondering if I can shoot it or should I leave it on the shelf?

    Nope- 590 has a 3-inch chamber.

Just as well I guess, blasted off some 3in #00 from the hip a few weeks back & broke my dang wrist..... Altho I should point out I have a non-union fracture there so it's "always" pretty much broken... but does heal up 'a bit" at times.

        ZRX,
Did you fire from the hip with a pistol grip only stock? I've fired a number of magnum 3" rounds from my 590 (shouldered) including slugs no fractures. no bruising. Way more whap than the standard 2 3/4" for sure.
