trap and skeet

Im new to trap and skeet and just got a moss 500 with the 26 in barrel and and 18 1/2in. i have only used the hand thrower for skeet and was looking into a better thrower and was looking at this one.

Trap and Skeet are two different games which (if you take these sports seriously) usually require two different guns - unless you have a gun with a stock that can be adjusted. Unfortunately, guns such as that can't be had for a thousand bucks.

On the other hand, if you are going to shoot Skeet primarily and Trap occasionally, the Red Label would be a fine choice. Just my 2 cents.

I haven't used it yet but put it together and tested it a few times without clays. It's sturdy and just plants into the ground. Plus you can use it by yourself because you just step on it. Easy to cock back too, absolutely no tension. All the reviews I've found are positive and it can throw doubles if desired. Plus, this site has it on sale for $89.99.

As for needing two guns. Depends on what level you want to shoot at. If you're not serious at all it won't matter. If you're somewhat serious you can at least buy chokes for trap and skeet that will change your pattern to what you need. If you're seriously thinking of shooting competitively then you may want to invest in a couple of guns.
