Going shooting tomorrow! Not sure where....

I'm taking my HD Mossberg 500 out for the first time tomorrow. Any suggestions on where to shoot in the SF Bay Area?

San Leandro told me Slugs only so I won't be going there this time. Chabot sound good but, I'm not sure if they're NOOB friendly and I don't have any friends that shoot (besides everyone here) to bring with me. I was also considering TargetMasters because of their extensive rental choices (thinking of renting a .22 pistol for the wife to try out).

Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.

Give Jackson Arms a call in South San Francisco. They let you use slugs or 00 buckshot.

Chabot is definitely n00b friendly just mind your p's and q's. Do not rapid fire, do not touch the shooting bench or firearms during a cease fire. Even if it is a drink or a shell casing, do not touch, pick up or drop off anything on the bench while a cease fire period is going. If you can follow those rules then you have it made in the shade. Chabot is an awesome place to shoot and hang out at. The only downside to Chabot is they only offer 1 shotgun lane, but most people use it for a round or two meaning 15-30 minutes to let others get a chance shooting shotguns.
