Picked it up today from Big 5 and was excited. So I put my choate forend onto the 500 and when I rack it forward. It slides forward and doesn't stay in place.
I don't know whether this is normal or if I got the wrong forend. I looked through some other threads regarding forends for 500's. They all talk about buying new lug nuts, etc. Then apparently there are choate forends that fit the 500 and then another that fits 500a.
Then for some reason I can't load my mossy with out first loading a shell through the port. Now with my 7 shot 870 if I just want to load 5-6 rounds. I can do so and load straight into the magazine.
I did disassemble the 500 yet I put all the parts back in place.
So what's the problem?
