    What's a Huglu /

I've seen a few on the gunbroker, but don't know anyone who has one. Do they hold up, I notice they're relatively inexpensive. Is the Turkish craftmanship very good?

They are decent shotguns for the money, they do what they are supposed to do. Had one, it balanced well and shoot straight. Wood is nice. However, do not expect a Huglu to have the same level of quality and craftsmanship you'd expect in a Browning or a Perazzi; after all the price of a Huglu ain't exactly the same either.
If what caught your attention is a semi auto CZ model 712 (made by Huglu), stay away from it, there have been numerous cases of broken firing pin striking the shot shell primer out of the chamber and causing the shotgun to blow up in pieces.
If you are looking at a O/U or a SXS shotgun, go for it, they're nice and very well done. If this is telling you something: Kimber is making its shotguns (the Valier SXS and the Marias O/U) in Turkey at a small co-op in the same little town the Huglus are made.
