SW 916a how to remove bolt?

I was trying to clean my smith&wesson 916a the other day and cant figure out how to remove the bolt and other parts. I was able to remove the the pump and ammo tube, I also was able to remove a screw and break the gun just in front of the stock but that is as far as I could get.
    Help would be great!

I knew a guy years ago who had one and cut it down to cruiser length. These guns were very problematic and were a real PITA for S&W and it's reputation.

Far as I know and remember, you should be able to remove the barrel and bring the bolt out the front of the receiver, similar to a Mossberg or Remington. The shell stop(s) inside the loading port should be able to be depressed and the bolt and forearm should slide out easily.

You may want to consider getting hold of a manual. They are on Ebay, and elsewhere for $5 - $10.

Everyone keeps saying these are bad shotguns, what is the problem with them?
