Benelli M4 Barrel Choked or Not?

I remember reading in the Benelli M4 1014 thread that cseabass was wanting to trade for a choked barrel and that made me think. Is the NEW Benelli M4 with or with out a choke? and if i were to use slugs should i use improved cylinder/modified choke? thanks.

Not sure what you mean by 'new' Benelli M4. However all Benelli M4s come choked. The Benelli M1014 (military version) does not.

Regarding slugs, IC or M can be used.

The Limited Edition civilian version M1014 (the first one with the fixed position skeletonized buttstock) will not accept chokes. Barrels may be the same as military version.

I repeat, the Benelli M1014s do not accept chokes.

Calling it the "military version" seems to mean the version M1014 used in the military. Now I understand that is not what you were saying.
