    Saiga-12: CA Legal?

    Is the Saiga-12 considered an AW in our great state? I was reading the "Shotgun AW Flowchart" and it seems to me that a bullet-button equipped Saiga-12 would pass all requirements for NOT being considered an AW (as long as you also had the fixed stock and 18" or longer barrel).

    Has DOJ outlawed the Saiga-12? If not, who, what, where, when, and how can the average-joe like me pick one up?

    Thanks in advance!

    Yep it's legal. Just need a mag lock, and make sure you follow the other semi auto shotgun AW regs. Peach state guns and Atlantic firearms both sell CA compliant versions.
    God, grant me the serenity
    To accept the things I cannot change;
    The courage to change the things I can;
    And the wisdom to know the difference.

        Thank you both for the info! Now to get approval from the boss (wife) to get yet another weapon. My brother (LEO) is looking too and I'm jealous of the stuff he can buy in CA!

        Thanks again!

          If he decides to sell an off list gun you can buy it, just avoid straw purchases, it's illegal.
