Matted or Parkerized? Please help me confirm.

OK, the top barrel is a factory 21" vent rib barrel that came with my Remington 870 Express 20 Gauge. The bottom one is a Remington 18.5" barrel that I bought from Remington. Now it looks to me that the 21" vent rib barrel is Matted and the 18.5" barrel is Parkerized. Correct me if I'm wrong. The reason is because I'm in the process of buying a magazine extension and I just wanted to make sure that the barrel and magazine extension matches.

I believe they are both Matte Black... aka.. Rust Magnets.

Remington does not make a 20 gauge parkerzied barrel of any kind. Yours are the matte finish.

Those are both matte finished. The 870 Police is Parkerized.
