Surefire makes one good forend tool.

When I purchased a Surefire 618LFG LED forend for my Remington 870, the Surefire forend came with a very good forend tool (please see picture below.)

It is just a simple piece of metal that fits into the shotgun forend screw, and we can remove/tighten the forend screw by turning it like a big flat-head screwdriver. It works great even on tight forend screw, and it is so small that I can slip it into my field toolbag.

    Have anyone tried this tool?

    With best regards,

They work well in most cases. If you have an older forearm that's been in place for years, it can be pretty tough to keep this tool in the forearm slots and not bugger them. That's about the only complaint I've ever had/heard about them.
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!
