My Rem 870 makeover....

So after seeing Black Majik's tactical classical Wingmaster, I decided to spruce up my own Remington 870 Wingmaster a little. Started w/ the ol' 28" barrel and four round mag tube. Bought a 20" IC Police barrel from aippi (www.aiptactical.com, great guy to deal w/ btw ), plus a Choate +3 extension tube and Galco buttcuff from Midway. Did have to dremel out the dimples, but it was a fairly easy procedure. I'm fairly pleased with the results.

Like the sling, anyone know how the sling held to the tube support? I was looking for that exact part, but all the ones I found have the ring for the sling on the side. I'd like my sling to look just like Black Majik's

I believe the factory Remington 870 barrel clamp comes with a sling stud. He ordered his from Brownells, IIRC.

(The sling is a 1907 sling, btw. Like what you'd find on M1 Garands and such.)

Yeah I picked up an 870 express magnum here for a smoking good price and it's mid makeover. I'm going to order an 18-1/2" police barrel and 2 shot extension to go with the police stock set I got for it. I'll post pics when it's done.

When I bring it out for birds/clays, it will sport the "before" look. When it's home, it will be in the "after" configuration. That's what's so great about pumps in general and the 870 in particular--they're so easy to switch out.
