I'm starting to wonder if a shorter length of pull would actually work better for me. Not only would it take some OAL off the shotgun, but I think the LOP would suit me better. My arms are normal sized but I've got a big upper body (shoulders, chest, etc.) I notice the standard LOP feels more and more like a reach the more I think about it. I figure it's worth a try, and if I don't like it I've got a nephew who's getting closer and closer to shooting age I could give it to.
How's the Hogue 12"? I don't care for their forends, and I rather like my factory ribbed forend. How well does the Hogue match with the Mossberg factory forend?
Even if I don't go with the 12" I'm definitely thinking about a Hogue in general because I like the palm swell, grip angle, and the rubberized finish.
