    Steel VS non-steel choke question

    I have 4 chokes for my new shotgun. Two say "steel" and two say non-steel. All 4 are different types of chokes (IC, MC, F,etc). Can I use the steel for lead too?

      Yes, the pattern with be a bit more open with lead shot.

              Steel is a no go in a Full choke. It won't compress like lead will.
              Looking for a 3" Magnum 870 $200-$250ish
