    Mossy New Haven

Sorry, I tried the search feature and didn't find much on the New Haven, at least nothing of recent date.

I was just offered a Mossy New Haven with a 24" barrel, wood stock, 5+1. Any thoughts on its value? Is it worth $200?

New Haven was a brand that sold firearms made by Mossberg, and others IIRC.

You didn't mention a model number but the New Haven 600 model corresponds to the Mossberg 500 according to sources I find. If the bore is shiny, the action clean and there isn't any corrosion issues I'd say that $200 is probably a top shelf offer. I wouldn't go higher unless there was something fancy involved.

No $200 is too high. Offer no more than $150.

~$150 more you can buy a new Mossberg or 870.

Why buy used for a little extra you'll get something un-molested?

OK $220 for the gun and 300 rounds of Walmart special (Federal and Winchester 8 and 7 1/2 shot). Worth it now?

With 300 rounds thrown in, why not?
