Recoil pad

Which shoulder recoil pad/s have you used? Also which pads fixed to an ATI telescopic stock for Mossberg 500s have you experience with?

I've used a Past recoil shoulder pad with my side by side and it works great. it's the wearable kind... not oo thick, but thick enough.

I still have the slip on rubber pad that came with my ATI stock and it fits on any colapsabe style stock. It works well too.

They retail for about 30 bucks. They work alright, if recoil really bugs you and you do high volume shooting, they're handy. Some people swear by the ones you wear, some people swear by grind-to-fits, and some people swear by recoil reducing stocks like the Knoxx. I haven't tried the latter options so I can't comment, but I think particularly the Knoxx stocks are becoming more and more common, with people having a lot good to say about them.

I use the remington supercell on my 870. its about 50% less umph compared to the stock shoulder. Easy to install and about $25 bucks.

I installed a limbsaver on my wife's Benelli nova 20 ga. It is the slip on version. I was at wally world today and noticed they carry the limbsaver slip ons under the Winchester label.
