    Bulk Buckshot

I was on ammunitiontogo.com and I saw that they were selling Fioochi 00 buck and Nobel Sport 00 LE buckshot. Has anyone had experience with these shells? I have never bought them before, but they were the most reasonable I could find, around $140 for 250 shells. Thanks

get the nobelsport, it's good stuff and 12 pellet as opposed to standard 9 pellet.

I have no experience with the Nobel brand, but I have used the Fiocchi in both standard and low recoil 00 buck. The low recoil was really soft shooting. In my subjective opinion it was softer than even most general purpose/ birdshot loads. I've heard Nobel sport buck is as good as any other, and as mentioned you can get it in the 12 00 buck pellet load. Either one should work just fine.

I've read some reviews of the Nobel buckshot where the patterns weren't real even. I've used the Fiocchi and it works just fine.

Well if you're more comfortable with Winchester ammo, you've got a pretty good selection here at the same price or better. Some is even cheaper (as low as $119 per 250 rounds).

There's nothing wrong, that I can tell, with the Nobel Sport ammo. It does, however, have noticeably more kick/recoil to it.

Bought Rio 00 Buck from Cabela's. 200 rounds and a dry box (free) for $130 on $5 shipping on ($150) and no tax. They've got the $5 shipping right now.

              Great for range shooting.

caldude - nobelsport patterns just fine. as a matter of fact, i took a 4 day shotgun class at frontsight and there were all kinds of different shotguns and everyone was shooting different loads and everyones patterns were just fine. i have yet to see a load that did not pattern ok.

gravetrain - RIO is good stuff. i have some of that as well.

johnz - whatever ammo you get will be just fine. shot placement is more important than brand of ammo.

Thanks for the website CBN620, but do I have to be a police officer to buy from here?

                    nope.

I'll second both OMBexpress and Winchester Ranger buckshot.

                      ombexpress

I started to buy 250 rds. of Winchester low recoil oo at ombexpress and realized shipping was $20. Is that about right or a little pricey?

One thing I always forget... ammo is heavy. It's all that lead. 500 rounds of .45 ACP. UPS Ground = $27.

I bought some of the same from Ammunitiontogo and it was $190 + $20 shipping. Just got it today. That's a discount price, the regular price is around $240. Ammoman seems overly expensive for shotgun ammo.
