Shotgun with pistol grip legal in Ca?

Im moving from Alaska to Ca in about 7 weeks and I know I my AR-15 with pistol grip and removable mag isnt legal in Ca.

Is my remington 870 with pistol grip legal in Ca. ?

Yes It's legal. WHat AR do you have, all you will have to do Is Install a bullet button mag lock and use 10 rounders.

If it's a pump action, it can have both a pistol grip and a collapsing/folding stock. It can also have a forward grip. If it's a semiautomatic it can only have one of the first two features (both is an assault weapon) and cannot have the third.

Basically, the only thing you have to worry about on a pump gun is that you stay above 18" barrel, 26" OAL.

Thanks for the answers everyone. Ive been so busy with my moving that I haven't had a chance to check the forum til now.

I actually gave all my Firearms to my brother except for a .45 pistol that Im taking with me. Ca gun laws are way wacky!
