Ghost ring for the 870

I have an older Tactical 870. That Im looking to try and give it a new look. I've been thinking about putting on a new sight among other accessories. Dose anyone have any suggestions on what is out there.

If you want simple installed GR sights go with the Trijicon GR night sights. You have to drill and tap the rear on the receiver but the front will epoxy over the front ramp and when done correctly is there forever. This way you will not damage the finish on your weapon. The sights will run you around $100 - $120 and you can find a local smith to do the drill and tap job. Braising anything on to the receiver or barrel will call for a refinishing job so avoid that unless you want it refinished. If this is the case check out this link http:www.aiptactical.com/Refinishing_Service.php you can get the weapon parkerized, GR's added and upgraded with 870 police parts and turn it into an 870P. If the finish is fine on it then leave it be and just add the GR's

Friend of mine put on some LPA ghost ring (mfg in Italy). Required drill and tapping receiver. Looks very nice. Same sights as used on Benelli M4.

When I had my barrel, Vang comp'd, I also had them add ghost ring sights. I believe mine are LPA as well. They did a great job.
