This one is short barreled, but the full length should shoot almost the same.

Except for the full semi-auto bit.

Genesis Arms does make/sell a Title 1 Shotgun version, but:
1. In its factory configuration it is considered an assault weapon under CA laws.
2. Genesis Arms will not modify it to be a CA legal shotgun.
3. It is out-of-stock with backorders taking an estimated 33 weeks to be completed.

Not legally.


Under CA laws...

A firearm that can discharge shotgun shells with a less than 18" barrel length is a SBS. [PC 17180(a)]

A firearm that can discharge shotgun shells with an overall length of less than 26" is a SBS. [PC 17180(b)]

A firearm that does not have a rifled barrel and has a barrel length of less than 18" or an overall length of less than 26" is an unconventional pistol. [PC 17270]

It is illegal (felony) for a non-exempt person to import, make, advertise for sale, transfer, or possess a SBS in CA. [PC 33215]

It is illegal (felony) for a non-exempt person to import, make, advertise for sale, transfer, or possess an unconventional pistol in CA. [PC 31500]

If you have an AR10 DPMS Pattern RAW (Registered Assault Weapon), then you can Legally get a Genesis 12 Upper (with an 18 inch barrel) and install it on that lower. And those 10 round magazines are also legal.
