    Browning M12

I have a Browning M12 in a 20 gauge with the marking on the box of grade 5.

I was wondering what is the differences in the grades? Is this one a good reliable shot gun? It came from a family member. Was thinking of trading it off for a 12gu overunder.

Your shotgun is still in elementary school. Please be advised that Browning only 'teaches' grades thru middle school.

Browning model 12 is a great shotgun!

need serial info and pictures to estimate trade value but I might be interested if selling

grade difference vary by model and year, here's an example of a hand engraved Grade 5 Citori

      1981 Browning Citori Skeet Grade 5 20ga

from 1978 - 1984 these were hand engraved and highly regarded

Nice shotgun . I’d keep it and come up with the coinage for a basic O/U , maybe a used Citori miroku with 26” tubes.

OP is that a solid frame of a takedown model? In any case it’s a nice gun with hand engraving / real gold inlay it’s just icing on the cake if it’s a takedown model .

                Nice! I'd keep it.
