    48" (interior) under bed safe?

My ole 3 gun 12GA (Mossberg 930) needs a CA legal lock box but damn if I can find one. Does anyone make em custom? Wanna keep this near the bed.

Human beings only have two ways to deal with one another: reason and force. Force has no place as a valid method of social interaction, and the only thing that removes force from the menu is the personal firearm, as paradoxical as it may sound to some.

The U.S. city with the most restrictive gun laws in the nation, Washington, D.C., has the highest murder rate at 24 per 100,000.
The state with the most unrestrictive gun regulations, Vermont, has the lowest murder rate at 0.48 per 100,000.

Would like something like this but all the options are too short.

Mirror Gun Safe - Secure your firearms with the Guardian MAX Tactical Mirror. Discreet, hidden storage for your guns.

A quick search came up with this safe sold by Amazon. It's ad says it'll fit between wall studs, but you may want to put a mirror of something else over it if you want to hide the safe door from initial view.

The op's post says under-bed, but the examples show safes built into the wall.
Under a bed could be any lockable box, I suppose, even a carrying/transport case.
Otherwise, remove the barrel to shorten the entire shotgun would be another suggestion.

Is under bed the only place you have to store? A long shotgun under the bed wouldn't be my 1st, 2nd, or 3rd choice for HD.

Something wrong with an upright safe or disassembled long gun?

One could go the headboard route:

Apparently a guy is working on a window valance long gun safe that works similar to the Guardian MAX. Nobody would look for a gun in a window valance, it's out of reach from kids and the length is not an issue. If and when they are commercially available I will post photos of mine. I do not have a space for the Guardian MAX mirror that is practical but have an enormous EuroKing bed so I was thinking that would be my best bet for instant access.

Yeah well...we're gonna need to see some photos of her before we can like your post. Is she hot? A narcissist? Both?

I have my own welding and fab shop, but I don’t run a business. I’ve made gun safes for the car, truck, RV and master closet. Try to find a business fab shop and they can easily custom build you one for your liking.
