Are you comparing a used shotgun to a new one? Do you know the owner and how he/she took care of their firearms?

Mossberg makes nice shotguns, but don't get caught up with all the tacticool crap that they've been adding to their shotguns recently. Those door breaching chokes look "tactical" but are pretty pointless. The barrett-style muzzle brake that they've been adding are just downright stupid. And if you're talking about Remington's QC, I've seen a couple brand-new Mossbergs with cranked front sights.

The Remington 870's been around for a long time, and there's a reason why. They're pretty rock solid firearms. Don't rule it out after just one used sample.

Benelli makes good pumps, but they have far less aftermarket parts than mossberg and remington. On the other hand, you can get ghost ring sights as standard on some models, where you can't on the Remingtons, and IIRC, on the Mossbergs.

he had 4 becausde he loved them, and i dont like the muzzle break stuff either, i just want to have the 9 shot cap and heat shield and maybe a light or the bayonete just cuz the bayo is funny as hell on it.

now im also debating on one remington and one moss, because i found a orange stock set for the less lethal stocks and it would be funny to put that on and have it be very lethal so its tempting as hell for the 870 now that I found some stuff. but I have a gunsmith that said if I got a bad 870 he would mod it for me so I may just go with one. or both.

The video has a bit more production value than most. I would have rather seen him stab the watermelon and go all Gallegher on it, but he choose the head of lettuce instead. Must have been a greater threat.
