Help w/ Benelli purchase

Ok... help me make up my mind. My regular FFL contacted me about several items he's trying to unload from an estate sale. I'm a regular with him and he knows I'm on the look out for a semi-auto shotgun.

He got a Benelli Super-90 with a wood furniture, no mag extension... couple scratches here and there, but nothing that'll cause function issues. I think it's a older Benelli since it has HK marking on it. Looks like it was used for hunting but cared for. He wants $800 plus DROS. Here's 2 pix he sent me:

A few hundred less than normal id say. Ive seen regular Benelli SGs go for 1k. The little HK stamped in makes it worth more, since ..according to some you can have the mag extension without being in violation of 922r.

I love my Benelli, its the first thing i would grab out of my safe in any "need" situation. Ive never seen a M1 with a wood stock though?

What are you planning to use it for? If it has a 21" Vent Rib barrel, it is a very rare length and I would snap it up. I would prefer the older M-1 model vs. the newer M-2. I don't dig the M-2's plastic trigger group housing plus the rib's are pretty fragile. Just IMOP.
