It is the same one, glad you are enjoying it! I picked up an a400 in 20 gauge to replace it; I can shoot better with it because of fit but I don?t find it any more fun to take out. I have room for one more shotgun in the safe, if I come across a lefty version I might just pick one up.

I have an 12 gauge O/U branded as "CZ" but says "Made in Turkey by Huglu" on the gun.

If you're into shotguns then the brand needs to start with B otherwise you're just putting off the inevitable.

Beretta o/u is a lifetime gun that will age with you and never give you any problems.

My beretta ain?t aging with me if I?m still saving for it. And find me a beretta sxs for a lefty at a reasonable cost. Ain?t happening.

I own 3 Berettas. One double (a 693 since I could never find a lefty 686 after a year of looking), and 2 a400s. I like Berettas and am familiar with their quality. One might call me a fan, although fanboy would be an exaggeration.

If someone can afford the initial outlay, I think Berettas are a good choice. If you shoot regularly then the cost of the gun is secondary to the cost of shells and clays.

But shooting a well made Turkish gun like the cz I ended up selling is shooting now, and shooting now has it's own value. Especially if you aren't looking for an o/u. Sometimes I enjoy shooting a side by side, and 486s (of any handedness) cost 10x what a cz bobwhite does. If you can even find one.

After reading lots of debate on the quality of these guns I wanted to test it out myself (as someone who primarily shoots guns starting with the letter b, although I have other nice shotguns), and I was impressed. Is it as nice a gun as my Beretta? No. Was it a better gun than I was expecting and very reliable in the admittedly short time I owned it? Absolutely.
