I’ve got an 870 Express from around 2007. It’s nothing fancy and has not had a rust problem like many from that time period. It’s a decent basic shotgun. I would guess that one from 1996 would be even better as far as quality goes....while the buffoon in the White House prances around celebrating butt sex. -
An 870 express magnum is a good gun and better than anything from China in 1996.
No idea on price as I'm in Idaho v. California.True wealth is time. Time to enjoy life.

Well the price was right and he had another 870 express magnum in 20g he threw in too. $300 for both couldn’t pass them up. The 12g is a plain Jane 870 with a dimpled mag tube with the black retainer with a drilled barrel band but no spring and pin retainer. Chamber is smooth though. I don’t catch anything with a finger nail, not like my old wing master but seems just fine. Like new and likely has the venerable Calguns less the 200 rounds fired going for it. Dry as the desert and doesn’t seem like it was even stripped down and lubed. Definitely has that rem oil left to sit and gum feel about it. Going to break it down, clean, lube and put a couple hundred rounds down the pipe and I’ll report back.WTB m&p 9 5?
