Looking for Sears Ted Williams Model 300 info

Has anyone owned one of these before? A friend of mine inherited one this weekend. He says it's jammed and he knows nothing about firearms.

I'm going to pick it up from him and try to diagnose the problem. Tried looking up info on it through the web but came up short so far. A diagram would be great if anyone knows a working link. Thanks in advance! I'll post a picture and any more info as soon as I take delivery.

I just sold one to Bootcamp.

It is a Winchester 1400 semi auto sold under the Sear's branding.

The 1400 came in many different flavors and had at least two variations in the magazine cutoff system. Spare parts kits for them are still floating around for sale.

mastadonn is correct. Here is one of the best links I ever discovered when trying to locate info on an older "Ranger" shotgun. It matches "house brands" like Sears, Western Auto. J.C. Penny etc. to the original manufacture.
