    Beretta 1201 FP

    Hi
I am inquiring if anyone has any expierence/knowledge of the beretta 1201 FP. I recently purchased one an have not has the chance to fire the weapon. It comes with a 18.5 inc barell, ghost ring sights. I am wondering about accuracy with Slugs out to 100 yds. Also reliability and functioning
    thanks

it is accurate. it is very had to hit anything at 100 yards with a slug. most of my shooting was done within 25 yards and i can put 2 slugs about 1" from each other.

reliability and functionality is flawless!!! you can put a benelli pistol grip on it. makes it handle a lot easier.
I am offically a gun nut!!!!!

It was one of my regrettable sales years ago. It's a nice, reliable shotgun, but its lightweight stature gives it a pretty healthy kick.

Its similar to a Benelli M1, but at a cheaper price.

          It's Beretta's version of the Benelli M-1 Super 90.

No longer produced, but definitely buy it when you can. Probably the only mod you can do is a stock change - Benelli M1S90 stock or Speedfeed stock (for the M1S90). The magazine is fixed, so no extensions are available.

This Beretta can shoot light loads or heavy loads. It's inertia operated, but, because of this, if you attached lights or whatever, you may experience a FTF or FTE because you're changing the balance.

Mine is a 20" barrel with rifle sights and standard stock. Super accurate. If you fire 3" shell, make sure you're for the recoil - it's quite stout. I have the Benelli Pistol Grip stock that I've been meaning to install but it just sits in the box waiting and waiting! The PG stock was not easy to find, I got lucky.
I'm not having a glass of wine, I'm having SIX. It's called a tasting and it's classy.
