Need some info on a shotgun

Hey guys,

I need to get some info on a shotgun that my father in law gave me. Its a Winchester 1300 with a ~28" barrel with what looks like a modified choke screwed in it. The forearm furniture isnt the ridged pump style, but seems nicer. I know that there were numerous versions of this gun, my cousin has a defender that we shoot trap with, but I would like to find out about this one if anybody has some insight.

It is a 1300 Field Model, possibly the Walnut Field by your description of the stocks and yes there are multiple versions and veri only by furniture. The specific model depends on the stocks as most came with the 28" VR with 3 Win Chokes tubes, and some with 5 tubes. Value, if at 95% ranges from $170 to $200 and decreases as the condition of the weapon goes down all the way to $95 if at 60%
