I still think TSS will be revolutionary for those seeking super tight patterns with pellets that will penetrate big game. Costly yes, too costly for much practice for the common man. But most practice with birdshot anyways.
Wow, the Vang comp did the worst in the test against stock shotguns. Go figure.

The Vang method rules when it was invented

Trying 15 types of buckshot to see what might pattern Ok with a shotgun was normal in 1970-2000

      Hans fixed that.

A company - I believe estate- came out with the flight control wad.

Then federal purchased the company or patent.

Many don't want chokes in a fighting gun
The choke can get loose in a squad car
      Lost by a grunt
Seized in place due to debris or rust.

So we have a huge amount of options

Pick the one that works best for you
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT
      (thanks to Jeff Cooper)

I don't have one at 25 yards but I do have one at 20 yards and it is 5".

        Is that good enough?

Rule #1 Liberals screw up everything they touch.
Rule #2 Whatever they accuse you of, they are already doing.
Rule #3 Liberals lie about anything no matter how insignificant.
Rule #4 If all else fails, they call you a Racist!

It's not how well you do what you know how to do,,, It is how well you do what you don't know how to do.

I don't have one at 25 yards but I do have one at 20 yards and it is less than 7".

Yeah, both of my guns shoot tighter than that with regular Lo Recoil 00 or 000 buckshot. Not FC.

I have some Federal FC that Ocean Bob sent me and will be trying it in my gun to see what it does.

So you weren't impressed with my 2" group shot "off hand" at 50 yards with a smoothbore shotgun? I haven't seen ANYONE do any better than that. Remember "Offhand" means shooting unsupported standing on your hind legs like a man, not shooting off a bench rest.

Flight Control is a game changer, something that was not around when Hans started doing his magic. Is it still relavent today? If you can get FC uninterupted, maybe not. The Vang system will tighten up all ammo so your not married to just one.
