    browning citori cx or cynergy?

Trying to decide between the two. Shot the citori and like it. However the cynergy is less expensive..What is your opinion of the two?

Both are great guns and will last you a loooooong time. Which one looks the best? Which one gives you warm fuzzies when you hold it and stare at it? If you shot the citori and liked it, then that's the one you should get.

The cost of the gun is the cheapest part of the whole thing.

      Citori looks better.

I don't know what specific models you are looking at, so take this with a grain of salt...

Looking at the current CX models of each gun there is not a lot of difference between them.
The Cynergy has 1/8" more drop at the comb, this would cause about a 4" lower pattern at 40 yards. The Cynergy is also lighter by about 5oz which will increase the felt recoil a bit.
These are not huge differences. The biggest difference is the aesthetics, personally, I like the looks of the Citori better.

I just got a CXS and really like it.

I just traded my Citori XT for a Citori CXS which is the evolution of the Citori XT/XS series of guns. IE: CXS and CXT

Never liked the looks of the Cynergy guns. Too space age looking for me. The CXS I got has great wood and 32" bbls. and runs nice and smooth. Mine has an Adjustable Comb, and uses the same Invector Plus choke tubes that my XT used that I already have.

It is just a better looking gun IMHO. It lives in a Cynergy Hard Case that I had the XT in.

It has about 250 rounds thru it so far (only had it for 3 weeks.) and I'll put another 100 thru it on Sunday.

I got this gun as primarily a Skeet Gun, but it will work perfectly for Sporting Clays when I get ready to do that,,,, Soon!

It is breaking in nicely and like all Browning guns it fits me perfectly right out of the box..

John M. Browning was a tireless innovator and a legend in the truest sense; so it’s befitting that his name should grace a range of exquisitely custom crafted hunting and sporting guns. The John M. Browning Collection is the very best of what we do.

Winetoad: Did you get a CXS or a CXT?

There is a difference,,, The CXS is a 50/50 gun and the CXT is a Trap Gun.

The big picture above is a CXS.

It could just be a CX.
