I gotta' disagree. You'll have more felt recoil with the AR buttstock, you may also notice mounting the gun is not as smooth as it would be without the pistol grip.

I could/would not recommend ATI...

Looks a little silly and futuristic, but has to have a better cheekweld surface than the majority of folding stocks. I'd never buy one, but I'm not an operator.
