Tristar shotguns, anybody took the plunge yet?

Just wonder if any of you have bought one of these value priced shotguns? If so what do you think of them.

It's worth the extra to buy an American made Remington. You'll thank me in the morning.
I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.

When I hit the lotto I'm only shooting factory.

Where can you get them? What did that one cost? Are there any other configurations available?

The one pictured above I found on gunbroker and the going price for it is $205. Not sure about other configs available.

They had TriStar O/Us in Big 5 in City or Orange a few weeks back.
I've been looking for an inexpensive 20 guage to teach the wife skeet.
I had the guy unlock and pull it down for me and it felt pretty solid and well put together. The break was a little stiff, and likewise locking it back in place, but it certainly "locked up tight" as the saying goes.

The wood was unspectacular, as was the finish, but they were listed for $399 and the guy suggested that if I wanted it, he could go "much lower than that, and make me a good deal."

Tired to find some reviews online, but didn't.
There was one review of one of their 12g pumps and it was essentially "okay for the price" ... which doesn't really tell me much.

Would love to hear from someone who has shot one...
(someone not of the mindset that you spend $1k plus or forget it...)
(since some of us simply can't afford to put that into one gun... sad but true.)
"Tell me Goldfinger, do you expect me to talk?"
"No Mr. Bond, I expect you to die."
