So it's sort of a Saiga knockoff for very little money? Looks cool. I'd be curious to hear your report after your first range trip and test as far as feeding low brass, birdshot, etc.

    Good luck!

I had a couple Molot Vepr 12’s, made them fixed mag so I could still run 10 rounds in semi-auto. With a plug, it won’t matter because you’ll have to manually cycle each one. If you were running semi-auto... 3 1/4 DRAM shotshells are your friend for trouble free mag dumps.

              It's a Chinese reversed engineered Saiga-12 knockoff.

              There's mixed reviews on it.

They were first imported into the USA by DDI in 2016.
In 2017, DDI was acquired by PSA and the DDI-12 was discontinued.

The Chinese kept making them for the export market and are imported into the USA as the Lynx-12 or Cheetah-12, depending on the importer.

They should use Saiga-12 magazines, but there have been some reported fitting issues with Russian and USA made Saiga-12 magazines, depending on the build quality of the shotgun (varies by the batch being imported).

A 10 or less round magazine is permanently attached (welded/epoxied/riveted) into the magazine well. [11 CCR 5471(w)]

Loading for a semi-auto AK style shotgun with a fixed magazine:

                Option A.
                1. Flip shotgun upside down, so the magazine is facing up.
                2. Remove magazine floor plate.
                3. Remove magazine spring and follower.
                4. Load cartridges into magazine body.
                5. Install magazine follower and spring.
                6. Install magazine floor plate.
                7. Rack bolt to load cartridge into chamber.

                Option B.
                1. Removed top cover.
                2. Remove recoil spring assembly.
                3. Removed bolt-carrier group.
                4. Load magazine.
                5. Install bolt-carrier group with care so that does not load a cartridge.
                6. Install recoil spring guide.
                7. Install top cover.
                8. Rack bolt to load cartridge into chamber.

It won't be set up as a single-shot.

It will be modified so that it is technically considered a straight pull bolt-action repeating shotgun.

As a bolt-action repeating shotgun it can legally have a features that would be restricted on semi-auto shotguns.
^CA legal for it to have a folding/telescoping stock (as long as the overall length is 26" or greater when the stock is folded/collapsed) and detachable magazines.

European anti-gun advocates came up with "full semi", because of the devices that prevent a semi-auto for functioning as intended and interrupts the action, so that it locks open after discharging a single round.

I think PSA has their version selling for $299 right now.
