A typical Sporting Clays course can have anything from 10yd in your face targets to 60+ yards, no two courses are the same. I've never been to Coyote Valley, so I can't comment on their setup. I typically use MOD/IMOD, but then, my main gun is fixed chokes.

I use my mossberg 500 accu choke…. I have the best time at Coyote and bring many of my (anti gun liberal friends) out shooting for there first time and we always have a great time. Sat/Sunday is BBQ with beers after (maybe only during summer) Got to love a gun range that serves alcohol after you shoot

At the very back there are a couple stands primarily used for instruction. If there are no classes going it's a great place to try a variety of presentations that are all reasonably easy.

Fun, nice. I shot the mountain course once, but it's closed now. The course they have now is fun and challenging. You'll enjoy it.

If you're there on a weekend, be certain to try the BBQ. Truly excellent. Sells out fast, though.

Early mornings can be rough this time of year due to angle of the sun on some stations.

I have been there a few times and tried Sporting Clays. It is fun and a bit of work.
