Looking for a semi-auto 12GA that can shoot 3" shells capable of accepting tactical and hunting barrels (including slugs) that is reliable.

Might help a little, the Beretta 1301 Tactical is the best bang for the buck semi-auto shotgun on the current market, other than it's older cousin, the Benelli M4. I know that the 1301 Tactical CANNOT accept a longer barrel. Not sure about the Benelli, but it's $2k to start too?
Might investigate the Mossberg 930 SPX here https://www.shotgunworld.com/threads...bility.420034/ but in my research, the Mossberg simply isn't as reliable and sophisticated of a gas mechanism as the Beretta's BLINK gas system. I talked my self right out of the Mossberg 930 SPX because in every review I could find, everyone mentioned or showed FTEs and FTFs. If I was buying a pump gun, Mossberg all the way. I think the IWI model shines, but the other one is nice too and has its own benefits. Haven't found the other one easily available in CA though some members have it.

I guess there isn't anything on the market in autos that have interchangeable barrels like the pump guns. Do any offer more than 4 shell capacity with a 30" barrel?
