All I have for a shotgun is a rusty(don't ask) mossberg 500. Looking to get into some quail, turkey and maybe duck. Soo...semi vs pump? Budget is about $600. I've started to look and see the CZ 712, and Mossberg flex. I really don't know anything about shotguns so please help me out!!

You can get an EAA Girsan MC312 Benelli SBE2 cline for around $450 out the door. Shoots 3.5" shells and everything smaller. It's great for the price. Your Mossberg 500 should work, if it has chokes.
If not, I just sold a NIB Mossberg 930 at a gun show for $450. You can find something like that for the same, or close to the same, price.Comment

I've used this for years on just about everything you can sling lead at.
It's basically a 500 with the ability to shoot 3 1/2"
