I have an old canvasback 12 gauge, a 712g semi and a 20 gauge redhead premier, my buddy has a 28 gauge redhead premier a 20 gauge semi and a 12 gauge ultra lite, not 1 hiccup in any one of them, good shooters and feel good in your hands. I like the looks of the all terrain.Comment

Nothing wrong with the CZ guns, I had one and it performed flawlessly. My concern for the OP is wanting a light weight gun "mainly for clay". IMO, not the best way to go. Light weight guns are usually hunting guns, carried a lot, shot a little. A heavier gun is a better choice for a "Clay" gun, carried a little and shot a lot. The extra weight helps mitigate the effects of recoil."A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed"Comment

The CZ Redhead Premier All-Terrain 12 Gauge weighs in at about 7.9lbs. It would make a much better clays gun than the lighter options."A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed"Comment

Hinterland Outfitters has the Redhead Premier in stock for $945.78."A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed"Comment

I'm really struggling with CZ's usage of bin parts for their shotguns. I feel like if I spend $2000 on a CZ shotgun, I'm getting the exact same product as if I spent $500.
Look at the receiver on their shotguns, then look at the Stevens 555.
I'd rather buy once, cry once, and get something authentic and high quality.
As much as I love CZ's 50 year old pistol design, I'm dismayed by their outsourcing choices. More to the point, I'm not spending $2,000 on a CZ All American when I can get a Browning. That would be the dumbest buying decision possible.
If I needed an entry level gun, I would wait.Comment

I see it a little differently. If you spend $2K on a Beretta or Browning and don"t like clays, (I don't know how a person wouldn't be addicted to "Orange Crack") you won't be stuck for long with a $2K gun. It will sell fast for very close to what you paid. I believe you will take a bigger loss selling a Turkish gun....while the buffoon in the White House prances around celebrating butt sex.Comment
