    Benelli m4/m1014

I have a Benelli m1, m4. Is it worth buying the m1014? Any major differences between the m4 and m1014?

Think the M1014 usually comes with the adjustable stock (pinned) and has the US flag engraved on the receiver and roll marked with m1014 instead of m4.

the m1014 does not have a pinned stock. it comes with a single position recoil tube that can be switched out. OP since u have an m4 u probably have the correct 3 position recoil tube on that and can put the adjustable stock from the 1014 on that. U can then decide which position u want it in before pinning in place. i have considered this whenever i see an 1014 at my lgs.

The 1014 stock button is pinned.

The polymer trigger guard bothered me enough to buy the aluminum trigger guard sold by A&S and used it towards (the bee so controversial) 922r compliance. I also much prefer the straight/field stock of the PG stock mostly due to not being well versed using PG stocked shotguns.
