    Shot a 3 gun yesterday.

I shot a 3 Gun Match at Winchester Canyon (Santa Barbara) yesterday. 1/2/21

Only about 10 people showed up as it was the day after New Years Day.

The part that pertains to Shotguns was the Pistol/ Shotgun Stage.

You had to shoot 6 poppers for teh Pistol Portion then transition to the shotgun and kill 10 clays laying on a berm in front of us. I had the RSO do a Split on my times so I could see what the shotgun time was.

I was running my Monkeyberg M500 (see what I did to my Shotguns thread above) which is an 18.5" 5+1 gun. So I started with 6 in teh gun and then had to Ejection Port Reload the last 4 to finish.

17 seconds total ! and that included moving down range to make the last 4 shots.

I got beat by the RSO who runs Paratus Training and was shooting a Benelli with 11 rounds on board. I was the only Pump Gun there .

So yes I am Bragging about the time, as all the SA's but one took much longer,,, next after me was 25 seconds and he had 10+ on board as well.

We had a good time but I sucked on teh rifle stage and couldn't hit Squat, took 46 rounds to finish what should have taken 20 rounds. My Ruger PC.40 was not on very well yesterday. I am blaming the gun.

Shot pistol fairly well and finished mid pack. Had a good time and it was good to actually do something instead of preventing my easy chair from floating off..

    Way to rock the shotgun!

Reminds me of the saying beware the man with one gun, he knows how to use it…
Obviously your not a one gun guy, but you definitely specialize and at 17 seconds got that port load down.

I shot a 3gun match the same day. 28 degrees in am, we only got 15 shooters.

I had a stage win on the all shotgun stage. A spinner, 2 flying clays activated by a popper and a polish plate rack. A VR80 with a 21 round mag rules.
