I used a mossberg made barrel on an 870 and it worked fine. No hand fitting needed. This was a 2017 made Remington. I have no idea if it matters, I know it’s a whole different company now and people complain about the quality. Just throwing it out there.Buying a safe and sane firework is like paying a hooker for a hug. I do not see the appeal in it. -

At $179 this is a "screamin' deal !!!" And they have Choke Tubes, Sights and Chrome Lined Bores as well !!!!

From what I can see its a nice satin finish.
I just picked up a 870 police that i have some plans for one of which is cutting a vent rib barrel 18.5 and making a extension flush for it.NRA Endowment Life Member
