FYI, some of the first gen SBEs also use the Crio Choke system. I have an SBE1 and an SBE2, barrels and chokes are fully interchangeable. There was a barrel/choke change from the 1 to the 2, but not all 1s were affected.

DO oil or lube your choke tubes before installing. Graphite lube seems to be the best, but any oil is better than none. Even Vaseline will work in a pinch.

I would recommend just using the Modified choke that came with your gun.

There is no need to use a super tight choke, unless you are taking very long shots and have already patterned your load in that choke so you know it is throwing a useful pattern. .655 is very very tight.

The choke you show is GTG but....I'd be really concerned to use so tight coke with steel shot. MOD is good enough unless you hunt out of CA and can use lead.
Also, any grease is good, no need for anything special

Oh wow, thank you so much for the valuable information! With all this expertise, the main thing I need to learn is to ask on here before I buy. I could have save $100 when I could have just used the factory modified choke that it came with! It even says “steel shot ok”. I’m such a dummy, thank you again for the help!
