Anyone use it? Tcs- The Custom Shop Bore Cleaning Jag 12ga

wondering if it'll work better w/o having to double the patch on my (i think) accupro which i got when i bought my dewey rod. My existing is now thick enough and double patch is a little too tight so what I've been doing is using the bronze brush to get more a snug fit.

Wondering if I will have the same problem with this. The jag is too lose for both the o/u and the semi-auto (browning/beretta).

I also have a special barrel gas ring brush for a, now-discontinued, 11-87 Remington.

As with the OP, I haven't had good luck with cleaning jags for a shotgun. The few times I've used a cleaning patch I found the screw-on mop worked better than a brush or jag.

I use this and so do quite a few people I know. Works well for me and I do not have to worry about any rubber gaskets going bad.

ok. thanks for feedback. i'm not a boresnake guy since i already invested in my cleaning materials.

was just wondering if any used it and how snug it is thru the barrel vs. say i use my jags where i double up or use my brush and wrap the patch around it to get some snugness.

yes, it's a shotgun. not an rifle for that level of cleanliness for that precision. i just like to do a decent job at it. i don't know why my trapshooting team mates say they don't see wad build up in the barrel (vs. just the chokes). i get wad build up in both.
