I had the same issue so I went here:

    Or maybe lg-outdoors might ship:

NORD Tactical MXT Extension Kit Ber 1301Beretta 1301 extension kit in a single package for Tactical model. - Features MXT magazine extension designed exclusively for the 1301 Tactical - Beretta 1301 extension increases magazine capacity to 7 rounds (capacity determined with 2 3/4 shells and may vary with shells of differing length) - Barrel clamp kit includes 1301 Tactical-exclusive clamp Picatinny rail and QDA swivel attachment - Utilizes factory magazine spring (spare generic spring included)

Both have it in stock at the time of this post.

The vendor has determined that the magazine extension meets CA's definition of a "large capacity magazine conversion kit", which are illegal to import/transfer in CA. [PC 32311]

Find another vendor that does not hold that viewpoint.

      Penal Code 32311
      (a) Except as provided in Article 2 (commencing with Section 32400) of this chapter and in Chapter 1 (commencing with Section 17700) of Division 2 of Title 2, commencing January 1, 2014, any person in this state who knowingly manufactures or causes to be manufactured, imports into the state, keeps for sale, or offers or exposes for sale, or who gives, lends, buys, or receives any large capacity magazine conversion kit is punishable by a fine of not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) or imprisonment in a county jail not to exceed six months, or by both that fine and imprisonment. This section does not apply to a fully assembled large-capacity magazine, which is governed by Section 32310.
      (b) For purposes of this section, a “large capacity magazine conversion kit” is a device or combination of parts of a fully functioning large-capacity magazine, including, but not limited to, the body, spring, follower, and floor plate or end plate, capable of converting an ammunition feeding device into a large-capacity magazine.

GrabAGun was a flop but for anyone with a 1301 looking for a Nordic Components kit.

Arnzen Arms shows them available at time of post.

I hope your were able to get one from another vendor. I ordered from skunkbeartac when they were in stock there. I think that vendor is located in California.

I got mine from Optics Planet, no problem. That is surprising since they are ultra conservative about what they will ship to CA (like no flash hiders!).

Thanks Shortround. I got one from Arnzen.

Waiting on an Aridus stick adapter and my 1301 is complete.

There are plenty of vendors that ship to CA. No need to gnash your teeth about ones that won't...just support the businesses that will.

I wouldn't say there was much "teeth gnashing" going on in this thread. It is helpful info for other California gun owners to know who they can and can't buy their mag extension from.
